Jagannath Dham Yatra Overview
The eastern region of India is home to Jagannath Dham, one of the four Vaishnava dham. These holy sites, declared by Adi Guru Shankaracharya, are considered essential for every Hindu to visit in order to attain salvation. The Sri Jagannath Temple has four gates facing each direction - the Singh/Moksha Gate in the east, Ashwa/Kama Gate in the south, Vyaghra/Dharma Gate in the west, and Elephant/Karma Gate in the north. At the lion gate stands an Arun pillar from Konark Sun Temple and the main deity of Lord Surya Dev from Konark Temple. Among these gates also stands a small temple dedicated to Hanuman ji where the imposing idol of Shri Hanumant Lal resides. The Kalinga-style architecture of the temple is crafted with limestone and adorned with a rust-resistant coating by the Archaeological Survey of India to preserve its beauty. As per Hindu Panchang, Ekadashi Darshan holds special significance at this temple.
Jagannath Dham Yatra Itinerary
Our cab will receive guests at Bhubaneswar Station/Airport, after refreshment guests will leave to Bhubaneswar local sightseeing. visit Nandan Kanan Zoo (Tiger Safari & Lion Safari), Khandagiri & Udaygiri Caves, ISKCON Temple, Lingaraj Temple, Kedar Gouri Temple, Rajarani Temple, Mukteswar Temple, Dhauligiri, Shakshi Gopal Temple, Raghurajpur Crafts Village later arrive at Puri. Evening will be in leisure at sea beach, Overnight stay at Puri.
Morning after Breakfast guest will leave for Lord Jagannath Darshan later check out from hotel and leave for Bhubaneswar via Konark. On the way visit Ramachandi Temple, Chandrabhaga Beach, Konark Temple, afternoon guests will drop at Bhubaneswar Station.
